The programme will include a combination of indoor and outdoor activities using Dolphins Hall and the Tetbury Recreation Ground. Ben Ward from World Jungle said:

“We are really excited to be back in Tetbury this autumn and have put together a fantastic programme for the week including a range of things to suit all interests. Activities will include circus skills, felt making, hip hop dancing, graffiti art and more. We want to inspire kids to get active this autumn, try new things… and of course have lots of fun along the way!”

Its been hard for children and young people throughout lockdown and it’s important we do something positive to support them.”

The programme includes workshops from Monday to Thursday in Hip Hop dance, Circus skills, Felt making and

T-shirt design. Then on the Friday afternoon a larger event will be held on the park including giant bubbles, graffiti art , outdoor fires, African drumming and more.

World Jungle will also be running a small Skate Jam on Tetbury Skate Park on Friday 30th from 1pm-4pm with prizes from Decimal Skate store for best ricks, best skater and more. If any skaters from Tetbury would like to help with the event contact Ben Ward on the email below.

Mayor Ann Pearce said:

“We are really pleased to be able to support this programme this year for children and young people living in Tetbury . It is hugely important to be able to offer a range of affordable and accessible activities in the heart of our community.

We hope the programme will help families over the half term and encourage children to get active, try new things and make use of our parks and green spaces.”

World Jungle will be in Tetbury from Monday 26th October – Friday 30th 2020. World Jungle are following up to date guidance from the Natinoal Youth Agency to ensure all activities are run safely and follow covid-secure procedures.
