Akumapa

Akumapa is an incredible African Drumming and Dance group from Ghana - comprising of Amazing Tetteh and Odai Odartei.

Amazing is a fantastic dancer offering a full range of traditional West African dances, Hip Hop and more. Odai is a master drummer who can teach the intricacies of African Dance music whilst exploring the beneficial cross rhythms and creating arrangements to free consciousness and open the mind.

Amazing and Odai have joined forces with other African Dance and Music Artists living in the UK and now have a group with up to twelve professional members with many years’ experience of African Dance and Music.

Akumapa perform a range of Pan African Dances from Ghana, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, South Africa and Senegal.
